Taking on the troubles of the troubled, “Jesus waded right in and helped out.” Example set, truly from on high, a fresh vision and visitation of God’s engaging character. Although Scripture was written long ago, and much before Jesus visited His Creation, God confirms for all generations, “You can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of His steady, constant calling, and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever He will do next.” His personification characterizing us, that we might quickly adapt to His plan.
Father, holy forever, “May You, as our dependably steady and warmly personal God, develop maturity in us, conforming to Your Son, so that we get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to You, God and Father of our Lord Jesus!”
Romans 15:3-6, 8:29 MSG/KJV
