You may be thinking, “Oklahoma! Is the place for me🎶 and O what a beautiful morning🎶.  And because of me, myself and I, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.”  This thinking is a “misstep,” no different than a wrong step in a cow field.

It matters not the location, Oklahoma, Dallas, L.A., Tennessee, or Salzburg.  It matters not our plans and goals, objectives, awards, ambitions, accolades, or other successes whereby, “Everything's going my way🎶, as long as, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”  Why would I disavow or disregard the Great Shepherd, who offers His very forgiveness, presence and care, even preparing my place with Him, lighting every step?  I shall not want.  “My sheep hear My voice,” said Jesus, “and I know them, and they follow Me:  I give them real and eternal life.”

Father, continue to patiently teach us, even as Your servant-king confessed, I need nothing because You are my Shepherd, God Supreme, Almighty, Savior, my provider, securer.  “You have bedded me down in lush meadows. You find me quiet pools to drink from.  You let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.  You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life,” bringing me home, to You, no missteps.
