In continuing with the I AM statements of Jesus, Pastor Richard addressed Jesus as the door of the sheep; a door of protection, a door of purpose, and a door of provision (John 10:1-10).

We are grateful to God for opening the “doors" of schools, and our first meeting this past week. Please keep praying for open eyes and ears to recognize God’s activities toward our service in our community.

3 February, Saturday morning at 8:00am, the men will meet for our first breakfast and prayer time together!

4 February, Sunday morning, our Adult and Young Adult classes begin at 8:45am, our Youth class begins at 9:00am, and our worship service begins at 9:30am, all at Brittany’s, 12449 Dillingham Square. We welcome you and all who will be with us (zoom is available for those that are not able to meet face-2-face). Then on Tuesday nights we study the Gospel of Mark 6:30p—7:30pm, and Wednesday evening we review pastor’s notes together with prayer, 6-7pm (both via zoom).

11 February, Sunday, checks are due for your Sight & Sound ticket to see Daniel!” The ticket price has been reduced to $84.55 for adults, and $42.00 for children 12-3. We’re still negotiating (lowering) the bus price, have one lined up, and should know more soon. Again, the event is Friday, 14 June.

31 March we will begin with an early 6:30am Easter Sunday Sunrise service in Dillingham Square. Please let your neighbors and friends know. We will have a small breakfast and Sunday classes to follow as usual.  March will also bring us an opportunity to directly support the North American missionaries via the Annie Armstrong offering.

Go, knowing you are God’s appointed messenger to announce His gospel, Jesus, our hope of glory., and grow together in faith and love unto His service in 2024. Visit our website @ friendshipbaptistchurchva.com, and “connect” if you need help setting your web browser homepage to the same.
