NOT a condition any of us want to experience!  Bankrupt.  Legally insolvent.  We would never plan to be in this condition, but we could certainly get there quickly without a plan, a condition where our deposits have been depleted.  So, what’s your plan? 

“If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere.  So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.”  Against culture, talking with a woman at a well, “Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again.  Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst—not ever.  The water I give will be an artesian spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.” 

Father, thank You for breath, for life, for sending Your Son because of Your Love, dying for us.  Your compassions fail not, new every morning.  Grant us the humility to bow before You, trusting in Your truths, believing, receiving Your spring of life within, gushing, never bankrupt, but love enjoined by Your love, through Jesus as Your mediator.  

This kind of love is never bankrupt, “never gives up, cares more for others than for self, doesn’t want what it doesn’t have, doesn’t strut, takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything, trusts God always, always looks for the best, never looks back, keeps going to the end;” gushing fountains of endless life.
