Finally, the hot line is answered; the traffic is moving; home again; supper is ready; I’ve graduated! ; the project is done; employer done; touch-down, landed; moving done. Any final thoughts for today?
Pastor Paul writes to end his letter, “Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, be cheerful. Become mature, be encouraged, spirits up! , be agreeable, of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.”
Father, what more could we finally want for the day and forever than to be with You, forgiven, having Your presence, Your way, Your will, enveloped by Your open arms? And yet, You’ve done just that through Your Son. Thank You! “Restore my soul; guide me in Your paths of righteousness for the sake of Your name.”
Finally, because we can, in Christ, through His agenda and sovereign power, accept His love, rejoice, become mature, encouraged, agreeable, and at peace. Great peace, perfect peace. His gift.
2 Corinthians 13:11, Psalm 23:3, 119:165, John 14:27 CSB/MSG/NASB
