We once studied the five love languages, a good study, and we’ve considered “how” before.  But how does God of Angel Armies, Father, Son and Spirit love me?  So many times when I ask others “how” I get “what,” a definition. So, “how?”

From His words, being legal transcribed testimonials, I can know how!  There are two starter categories, being, by His doings and by His non-doings, do-nothings.  His doings begin by giving, as in Grace, which is not deserved or earned; and His do-nothings begin with not-giving, as in Mercy, withholding what I legally, morally, and eternally deserve.

Sometimes I ask for things that are dumb or honestly, selfish, and what does He do?  He’s not bound to respond, but on at least one occasion, “He gave them what they asked for, but sent a wasting disease among them,” an extreme to their desire to consume.  When the ruling Roman governor asked Jesus a question, “Where are you from?” Jesus did not answer.  Sometimes God withholds actions, proving His love.  I should do likewise.  During His crucifixion, Jesus was mocked and taunted, “Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe.”  He could have called one angel or 100 million, but He said, “It is finished,” fulfilling, proving His redemptive love.

Father, the more time we spend with You, Your Son and Spirit, the deeper we realize Your demonstrated love for us, “so loved,” we are inseparable.  Thank You for Your redeeming Grace, Jesus taking on our eternal  judgement.  Even our trials, You “work together for the good of those who love You, who are called according to Your purpose,” and unto sharing Your holiness. O how You love us!

Psalms‬ ‭106‬:‭15‬, John 19:9, 30, Mark‬ ‭15‬:‭31‬-‭32‬, John 3:16-17, Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬, Hebrews 12:10 CSB‬‬ ‬‬ ‬‬
