“Just keep going down the road a bit, then left, right, you can’t miss it.” So they say. I confess, I seldom arrive at my destination based on their description. Following GPS today has a much higher probability of arriving our destination. Even so, these vectors, left and right, are occasionally inaccurate.
But there’s great comfort, assurance, knowing that God Himself is aware of my, our location and, direction, even as He has recorded,
“God charts the road you take; the LORD knows the way of the righteous.” Macro to micro, He planned it out, from eternity to today and forward. And when we turn left instead of right, He has a way of vectoring us toward good, “for those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Father, may Your praises always be on our lips. And when we don’t understand Your vectors, grant us the faith and courage to just thank You anyway.
“God charts the road you take; “the LORD knows the way of the righteous.” Vectors. Direction known. Trust Him for it, your path and destination.
