Peace is certainly not the center of the news world, is it.  And yet, I’m not the answer, either, are you?  As long as Amazon and Walmart are open and we can grab a meal and fill up with petrol or power, we can live our lives of quiet desperation.

Jesus told the people, “Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.” Said similarly, “You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.”

Father, thank You for revealing the Prince of Peace, Your Son, as You hold the peace that passes all understanding, as well as life eternal and life in abundance, all wrapped together as a Gift.  Forgive and cleanse us from our self-focus to be replaced by a warrior’s heart for Your very present and engaging peace, seeking You, Your kingdom and Your righteousness, as Your children.
